would it be possible to "balance" bottom end trq loss by adjusting cam angle/timing? (and headers)... It's been my plan, but I'm certainly no expert...

Using Osiris for the cam angle btw...

absolutely possible since thats what altering the vtc angles (cam timing) does, but it is always going to be that balancing act

not much to the v-manage, just adjusts the vtc angle, only does intake cam IIRC since the exhaust is magnetically altered (right?)

Or you can use Osiris like he is smart guy

I don't think meth would prove very useful on an NA car. I have very limited experience with it on forced induction, so I'm sure there are better people to answer the questions. I'm just not a personal fan of any artificial add ons like meth, nos, etc....just not my thing

that's what I thought... indeed - it will be excessive tweaking... I have an offer for free dyno tune once the cams and header are in - so I'm hopeful the "idea" will be worthwhile...

+1!!!! cheater gas (liquid) I hate racing people and having them post up big numbers and a win claiming NA - without mentioning they were squeezing/squirting… all motor is ALL MOTOR!

osiris doesnt give you control of the cams, its a flash. if one day you decide to change the cam angles, you cant just do it. osiris probly gets you to a good spot in your cam control, but nothing beats a car specific dyno tune

Osiris does let you control you cam angles. That is what was used to tune my car. I picked up 20+ rwhp just by changing the cam advance.

Yes it does.

The real-time-tuner version of Osiris does give real time control of the cams. It is currently being used by several pro tuner shops and an end-user version is in beta.

I already have Osiris - my OEM cams have already been adjusted... it was dyno tuned and the after market cams and headers will be dyno tuned with Osiris... thanks for your concern though.

the end-user does but the tuner doesnt. once you leave the shop you cant change it, you have to go back. what i meant is that you have it changed, but you cant change it whenever you want. now that i think of it that probly doesnt really matter to most people though. im used to myself, where i change my tune just about every week so sometimes i dont think about the typical user
