Default SES light

i got the SES today after i bumped a curb by accident on the freeway (please no flaming). it wasnt hard but it just hit. the code is P1273 Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor 1. doesnt sound related but thats what happened. i already reset my ecu but the light came back on. what should i do to fix this?

Take it to somebody who knows how to repair a Z.

That code could indicate one of several problems - the O2 sensor got damaged, there is a leak in your intake, there is a fuel pressure or injector problem.

I still dont understand why people are resetting their ecu without knowing what the problem is. There is a reason for the light to come on.

Get your car checked out.

the light just bugs me. and since i already got the code i just reset it.

Gotcha. I missed that part of your initial post. There have been some people on here just resetting their ecu without first finding out what caused it.

its no problem but yeah thats pretty dumb. like they dont care if about the problems on their car or something.

BumbleZee I see you keep bumping all of these post. I did the same thing a few months ago when mine started coming on. I think it is an exhaust leak even though I can't seem to find one under mine. I'm going to bring it to a shop on Monday and I'll tell you if there is one.

hehehe sorry damn SES light gets me down everytime i stare at my gauges I wanted to check mine but i'm here in canada on vacation and all my tools are in vegas thanks bro...
