Smile Will an 07 08 motor fit an 03 Z

Is anything different.Since there two intakes on the 07 is it possible without any modification. 2 Swap

since the body is exactly the same dimensions.. of course it will fit

+1!

It will fit (duh), but you will obviously need the 07+ hood unless you use custom mounts and place it way down in the chassis so you F up your oil pan and headers everyday. Other than that, the hardest part will be the electronics piece. This is my worst area, but definitely start with the proper 07+ ECU, but there will probably be a lot of headaches as there are extra pieces of electronics on the newer Z's that may cause conflicts if you aren't using an aftermarket ECU.

lol @ possible without any modification. just drop it in and plug everything back in. like putting a 383 in where a 350 used to be...

I like where you are going with this one....however I would wait for the piggy back ECU bugs to be worked out first. Do you know of any boosted HR's? There are only a handful and I am not one to be the "test dummy" with my ride. I see swaps being a big thing for twin turbo cars...not so much for the SC guys...

Why go through all that trouble when a built block 3.5-3.8 block is cheaper at this point?

why not just buy an 07+?? the amount of money and labor you put in, you could get f/i and be done with it
