My ghetto attempt at Ram Air
Flame Suit is on 
Felt like the AEM intake needed more air and i did have a setup close to this on my 91 300zx. The AEM air intake is basically in a plastic box where they want you to install it. The car does feel stronger being up front like the ingen intake. Here are a few pics. This is a rough draft, if i like it i will go back and improve the looks more.

for my first post sorry to say this... but it more looks like your "scoop" is blocking air from hitting the intake!
if the scoop was behind and around it and not in the front.. channeling all the air that was coming head on to the filter that misses it and goes to the back then it may do something...
or what evva...

its got to be like this....
the o will represent the air filter and the \ / wil represent how what you made should be...
above the \ / is the opening of the front bumper....
\o/ <--- like that with a closed back.. then you will get the effect your looking for...
what you are doing now is keeping air from getting into the filter!

So what you are saying is to cut the area i have circled in white??.....the reason i left it like that was because of rain. The scoop does force more air in, you would have to see it up close. Pics dont give it justice.

I just wanted to get some feed back, this is not the finished product. So far i put $20 into this. Just need to work on the scoop part some more. But tonight i went for a drive in the car, and boy can i feel a difference. With the air intake up front the car just pulls alot harder. Me likes ....The place where the intake was before, it was not getting any cold are. Big change with it up front and in the air's path. Any ideas on the scoop would be appriciated.

you may have the scoop there.. but you are still blocking the whole front side of the air filter...
if the filter was where the plastic part of the AEM logo is on the filter that would be another story... but half of the air hitting the intake where it normally would is being pushed away now...
now what would be cool / better IMO would be to make a simmilar thing with NO FILTER going into the openeing on the stock intake box... THAT would be RAM AIR

Not flaming you... Just laughing what people do to get 1-4 hp gains which in reality its like if your lucky .1 off the 1/4 mile... Hey, if you like it that's all that matters.

WTF is wrong with you. You buy a decent car then hook a bunch of **** you found in your basement up to the engine. Man it really looks like you got some road debris caught in your grill.
