Exclamation Brake, VDC and Slip lit up at same time during acceleration

Update: New brake pads and Springs added to car: Changing brake pads eliminated the VDC Slip brake light problem. At first i didnt know why the VDC would freak out if the breaks were bad but apparently the VDC shuts itself off if there is a brake malfunction or whatever. It uses the steering angle to apply the brakes etc if needed. Its kind of nice it will shut itself off if there is a problem. Anyway just wanted to say thanks again guys.

Hope this helps someone else.

Ive had this happen before and I know this can happen when you need brakes. However it happened while doing the following:

Came into toll plaza slowed down to 18mph. Rolled through EZpass lane and then accelerated to get past a truck. Hit about 5500rpms (nothing crazy) shifted and did the same in 3rd. again to about 5500 rpms. Then all the lights came on. I put into 4th and slowed down a bit and the brake light went off but the other two stayed on. Engine felt fine. Accelereated fine no hesitation or anything.

So my question is. WTF is going on. I searched and found a bunch of stuff on the brakes but nothing about them lighting up during acceleration. Thanks for your help guys.

(turning the car on and off got rid of the vdc and slip lights)

OEM 18in touring. I might have lost a little traction coming out of the toll (metal **** laid into the road) nothing crazy though. But I have decent tread on the rears.

Other than a total VDC failure (which is extremely unlikely), it's your tires causing the problem you describe.

So I was just driving around a little while ago. At moderate acceleration the e-brake light comes on and off.

Is it the consensus that its the tires (I know its getting to be time for new ones but they arent dangerous).

I dunno. Its starting to **** me off. Like I said the car is running fine. Especially since its colder out.

Thanks again guys.

(woo hoo for VDC failure. LSD here i come)

there simply isnt a cheaper place to get tires bro...

hope you can stop your order or I hope you didnt get them yet?

plus on on the low fluid. make sure you bleed your brakes good also..or the same thing will happen with air in the system.

It was basically like adding brake fluid. When all the brakes were compressed with new pads on it pushed the level back to MAX. Previous to that it was a little below the split in the resevoir. I did a bunch of searching and found people spending 1000's of dollars at the stealerships because they were telling them it was "bad wheel alignment sensors" and "fluid level sensors" when all that was needed was brake pads.. Simplest answers are the right ones I guess.

Clarification: Fluid level went back to normal after pads were compressed back onto rotor, not compressed open like when you put the pads on.
