I'm having Clutch/Drivetrain Issues, unknown...please help with input or past exp.
Ok, here is the deal.. I have an 03', 6 speed (original/factory) 42,xxx miles with a stock clutch and flywheel. I am noticing this problem more often when the car is cold but it has happened at all times of the day so I am convinced this has nothing to do with temperature. When I go to shift into first, clutch in at a stop (fully depressed), the car wants to "bump" forward. Its not wanting to move the car significantly but enough to hear a clunk. Now this is without me applying any rpm above idle and not moving the clutch. It only happens at the first spit second of going into gear. After it happens once, it wont do it again unless you move to nuetral, let the clutch go....press in the clutch and move into gear again..."reset". Something is telling me that my clutch is not fully disengauged when this happens...yet it makes no sense to me. The clutch is not slipping either. Anyone had this problem?...remedy? Please any experiences may help, thanks.
The first time you engage first, there will be some resistance as the sychros do their job. If you keep the clutch pedal depressed, but goto neutral, and the quickly to first again, it's a much smoother engagement.
What you are describing, sounds like you are picking up some very very subtle changes in the operation of your synchros. I really would no worry about this at all. Might try switch to Motul 75-90 Gear 300 which is the best gear oil for our trans.

Easy on the bump.
Not sure what you are talking about. Minor resistant shifting when the car is stopped? No big deal. Sometimes I have a habit of going second to first gear then second to first gear again if the shift feels “funny.” I just do it twice.

as this is a fairly new post, is this still the consenus. I need to do a tranny flush and get some new tranny fluid.
My car has the same issue. hard to get into 1st from neutral but gets easier if you go 1st, 2nd and back to 1st.
