Aftermarket Clutch + Flywheel - clicking/grinding sound?
Hey, so I just got a 350z a couple months ago
I replaced the original clutch and flywheel (dual mass or something i think right?), with aftermarket ones. Put in an exedy clutch kit and an act prolite flywheel.
Now I noticed when idle (clutch pedal not pushed in, in neutral) there is this rattling/clicking/grinding sound thing coming from the engine. I assume this is normal because its not a dual mass?
Also, it sounds like a truck accelerating :/
but other than the sounds its works fine.
Do you know what could be causing the rattling? My friend thinks a lose throw-out bearing but I'm not sure. My mechanic says the sounds is normal/fine since I went with aftermarket parts...

Well thanks for the info guys.
david79 - It's not that loud, I'd say perhaps up to par with the engine idle, although a little louder. I'll see if I can record the sound on my phone for you if you'd like :/ But I will say I do like the feel of the aftermarket parts I put in over the stock, not as stiff
Sound is just annoying but eh, my girl can't hear it inside the car so oh well!
