my car is 03 350z and i bought my car 4 years ago (as a used car). currently i have around 56000 miles on it. i dont really race nor abuse my car (i have no engine mods... just have exterior mods) but today while i was driving back to my home, engine service light came on. i went to shop near by and they told me that my car have missed fire 2 times... so i was wondering what is the usual case of miss firing... Please help me guys! thanks!!!

 

they told you missed fire 2 times??? I hope they told you something else... maybe misfire #2 cylinder???

 

i was in rush so i couldnt talk to shop for long time and couldnt figure out what to do... and they dont really know about Zs.... but i think they said "record shows that your car have missed fire two time..."

 

either they told you multiple misfire or misfire in #2 cylinder or something like that..get the code and post it up here, thats the first thing to do..It is most likely due to plugs or wires but could be a coil problem or something..most likely plug or plugs

 

they did not say the car misfired 2 times..lol...they probably said multiple misfire or that the car is misfiring in 2 cylinders..its a code and means more than one cylinder is misfiring

okay i will go to shop asap... its getting really annoying... i feel unsafe when i am looking at it....

 

If the spark plus are misfiring get it fixed. It is not going to fix itself. It will only get worse.

 

any place can change your plugs for you..or you can yourself.its not rocket science..and there is a diy thread on here to show you how with pics...First post up the exact code though to narrow it down a little better..

 

You Might want to change you plugs but also you might what to do something called a Dicardonation to you chamber
