MmmHmmm! I knew it only because of the intense oil cooler setup that was linked that did not have it. then there was the whole topic of why you should have it or should not.

The new sandwich plate came wrapped in plastic wrap and was super smooth. The first one I got was just in a bag with the center bolt flopping around. Glad I sent it back.

You dont use thread sealant on a pressure fitting.
New black braided lines and fittings installed. Looks awsome and no leaks!
