Sikky 350z/G35 LSX swap
so i would imagine the ls a/c unit would just need custom lines, which mates directly to our a/c condensor? also, if we spliced the ac wire on the z harness into the ls harness (its only 1 wire for the z harness) and using the condensor, couldnt we control the ls a/c with the factory controller?
or even better, if we could fabricate a mounting solution for the z a/c condensor in the ls a/c location we wouldnt need any wiring riffraff, just custom lines, to which it should operate like stock then id assume. lines would be fairly easy to hide as well (inside the fender)
Just got my sikky kit in today, this stuff is top notch!! quality is excellent, and the packaging was superb!
also sent them my wiring but requested they leave the factory z a/c wire connected for future use.
starting my assembly tomorrow

I expect full pictures of what plugs into where and what all the sensors on the LS are for and where they are located... basically anything and everything that will make my install go more smoothly. Thanks!!
will do, doin a full write up of the install once i get the wiring back from sikky!
on a sidenote, just found out with my pro performance intake or any other non-ls1 intake (such as ls2/6, etc) the factory ls1 coolant line connecting the 2 front ports to the 2 back ports will not work unles your grind the manifold (not reccommended) so an ls6 style setup is required, which simply blocks off the back ports and connects the 2 fronts together. you can find more info here

i feel its little details like this that slow down builds, and if we can get a bunch of tips/tricks together, people can have their projects together and running quicker with less hesitation or trouble!!

+100 on that, especially since some of us are going to be DIY for the majority of the project. I can get the stuff in the car, its the wiring and such that will hold me back for sure.
just got done with the sikky master cylinder install. was incredibly simple. the only pain in the *** was getting the nisan rod back in with the snap ring.
alsp for you guys goin with aftermarket intake mani's, use a thin head bolt so itll clear. i used hex flat top bolts, they are m8 x 1.25 x 30

There is actually quite a bit of information out there already for swaps but the mods won't create a swap forum to help organize the information. That is why there are so many of the same threads on swapping LS's, 2JZ's, RB's, SR's, VR's and VH's.
