Z33Art V3.0-LS1/TH400 Swap
Sorry guess I phrased that wrong... I wasn't sure if the placement was in that position so that you would be able to use the factory shift cable or if you had to modify the linkage at the transmission where the cable mounts up.
Were you able to use the factory shift cable or did you go with an aftermarket kit?
As far as the weight distribution, do you have any 4 corner weight comparisons?

On a side note I will be starting a new thread soon with V3.1 .
Getting a cage put in sometime in early May. Plus twin fuel pumps, fuel cell and solid bushings. Most of which is already done.

Just some pictures from over the last month or two. Have a bunch more updates but I am waiting until they are completely finished to post them.
Welded in solid subframe bushings

My new gauge and switch panel where the radio was. Air/Fuel gauge and vacuum/boost gauge. The switches are main power relay, data log, nitrous and wideband calibration. Each switch will have an indicator LED by it also which aren't shown in the picture. There will also be an error code indicator between the gauges. Still have to space the panel out correctly so it sits flush, but you get the concept.

The 570z goes in for the cage tomorrow! Still removing more wiring to save weight on the front end. Getting a new torque converter that can handle nitrous. The new larger Howe radiator shows up tomorrow also!
My old Howe radiator had a couple of coolant passages that had slowly become crimped from the zip ties for mounting fans. Decided I wanted a slightly bigger radiator also since I run an underdrive pulley and my water pump is going slower.
Pictures of the cage that Clocks Off Racing is putting in the Z! Just going with a 10.0 cage for now. Planning for a Ford 8.8 solid axle and adjustable four link suspension this upcoming winter.

So I finally moved into my new house this week and the Z got delivered! Sitting in her new home with the new larger Howe radiator and and Clocks Off Racing tubular radiator mount.

Pictures of the finished cage also.

The garage is awesome! I am still working on finishing the cabinets I made but everything else is good to go in the garage. Still have to buy some shelving and finish putting stuff away from the move though so it is kind of a mess right now.
damn that garage is sweet! got room for another lol
