Hey everyone new to the forum, don't own a Z.
Almost bought one a few years back, burnt orange grand touring but also had track package options. Loved it, but money wasn't in my favor.

My brother in law has on 08 350 completely stock, he's waiting til it's paid to perform any mods to it.

Now I've got a Titan and an S4...who else wants a V8 in their car?

I recently took the motor out of my truck to do the head gaskets, I figured it would be a lot less work to just get a good motor out of a donor vehicle (less work, WAY more expensive as it turns out).

I figured this would be a better forum to gauge interest...

I bought the gasket sets, and pulled the heads.

Curious as to how many of you guys have already done this swap, and how many of you are considering it in the near future?

It has been done, but it is an expensive ordeal and you are better off going with a LSX motor

VK56 have a tendancy to warp the blocks when the headgasket goes... sometimes it can need just a head resurfacing but the block is bad 80%of the time

A lot of all aluminum motors have that tendency. Your not going to find many buyers on this site. You'd think this was a chevy forum lol.

Id never knock anything you do.

1 you do everything yourself by hand which is incredible.

2 You always go so past far left field into the parking lot on your builds and past cookie cutter I cant hate, i love them.

As cool as every build you do is I look forward to each next step of your car.

I could just care less about all the me too's who've popped up.

/end groupie love

I am still in the process of getting my swap completed. We'll see if/when it gets done. We're working on AEM and possibly using a custom cam censor. Does anyone have a Passenger VTC cover off of an 07 tvk56?
