Default 03 De Ecu for a Vq35de rev up?

this may be a stupid question. I just put a vq35de rev up in my car I have the ecu for it as well but it wont start due to nats. IF I put my old ecu from my vq35de will that work since ecu is paired to my key already?

I'm pretty sure you will need an osiris tune. I know people use rev up heads but i think they have to use the non-rev exhaust cams since the non-rev ecu can't control the exhaust cams (exhaust cams are not adjustable on the non-rev)

Try your old ECU, it may work to get you do a dealer where you can swap ECU's and get the key programed.

can't you send off the ecu to have it flashed to remove the nats?

as far as i know, you can't use a non-rev ecu with a revup ecu since the harness is different due to the extra cam wires.

It should work just fine, non revup ecu doesnt even know about the exhaust cam sensors. Unless its wired up differently which I doubt because the utec and haltech has only one wireharness.

I swapped them both over this weekend and nothing happened. does the throttle body lock up when you uplug the ecu? Now when I plug them in I get a buzzing noise from my throttle body?

I've never had a problem with my TB after unhooking my ecu.

Look up the TB reset procedure (someone has it on here but it can be found in the pdf service manual as well). Try that and see if it helps with the throttle body.
