Default Transmission Noise on Low RPM

Good morning,

I recently replaced a lot of parts in my transmission, these exact parts:
http://www.zspeedperformance.com/ZSP...SPNSK1PACK.htm
http://www.zspeedperformance.com/ZSp...P3003-DEHR.htm

Performance wise... works great, it still tight, I'm still in the 500 mile break-in period, but so far its excellent.

BUT... there is a noise... sounds are hard to explain. So...

First... for the 350Z MANUAL transmission.... that rattle sound it makes when you forget to press the clutch in when you turn off the car... that sound is the closest i can describe.

When I am at very low RPMS, under 1,000, it makes that rattle noise, it doesn't do anything else, no shakes or vibrations or jerks. It does it in first gear when I do a shallow engage and 2nd gear if its lower than 1k RPM after my shift.

Is this sound anything serious?

does it do it in neutral just idling and then go away when you push in clutch?

No.
It only makes the sound when i am actively pushing the gas pedal at lower than 1,000-1,100 RPMs, it goes away once I'm over that.

did you do the work or did a shop? if you did it, did you put loctite on the bolts holding the flywheel in?

I took it to a shop that only does transmission work, and on top of that, I took it to them because they have a few 350Z's that they've sponsored and upgraded themselves.

Completely normal...

It does this stock, but converting to a single mass will amplify the transmission rattle that was already there.

This is correct, Because the Dual Mass OEM flywheel is now replaced with a single mass you may get some light noise under accelerating condition in the low RPM range. This is completely normal.
