engine shuts down when driving in rain or wet.
Tried everything else so maybe someone has seen this problem before ..Iam trying to figure out why my sons 2005 350z will shut down when he is driving , but only if its raining or the roads are very wet like it just rained. almost every time it shuts off it will throw A P0335 code (Not Always, but most of the time) back history is crank sensor has been changed 5 times , fuel pump is new, Connector at the crank sensor was changed as was the maf sensor and the connector changed. The car was brought to Nissan they tried for 2 weeks and said they couldnt find a problem, Anyone have any other ideas on what else to try or have seen this issue? Thanks forgot to add this is an automatic trans car.

A good starting point when troubleshooting is asking, "What could have possibly changed since the car ran correctly?" Gl!
Well thank you for the attempt , And the parts are OEM that were replaced.. Car was driving great he left work one night and only made it 1/4 mile and the car shut down been chasing the problem after that ..But again thank you for trying.
Perhaps someone with additional expertise can add some advice. Gl!

The underbody splash tray really does help keep the engine bay from getting soaked with water. You may need to replace those and the fender liners to keep the spray from getting up into the electronics. As a bonus, it will also stiffen and strengthen the front bumper section and keep your lights functioning properly.
