Yes, it is automated.

I was once a "know it all" as well.

Now I'm something else.

"Supreme kickass guy" or similar, I think

This is the e-mail reply that I received from them......

Hello
Thanks for your interest in our stroker kit. The kit consist of one 90mm stroke billit crankshaft, one set of connecting rods, one set of pistons (8.5:1, 11.0:1, 11.5:1), one set of stroker T-sleeve (incl install, but you need to send block to us). The MSRP price is $7,850.00. As you notice there are three compression ratio, so you can use it either for N/A or F/I. In N/A form with cams, header, exhaust & ECU tuning, it should produce 400+ wheel horsepower. For F/I it should hold 25-30psi with no problems. Hope this will give you some idea of our kit. By the way, supply are very limited, first batch almost sold out. It will take 10 weeks before the next run is availiable. Thanks

25-30psi? Wow, that should be making all the guys on the top 10 F/I list start creaming their panties (or getting nervous). So, are these guys (AEBS) US based, or foreign? I assumed they are domestic, and if so, are we going to finally beat the Japanese tuners at their own game? Sounds like a 4.3L VQ that's running 25+ psi would make one blindingly fast Z. *begin theme music* (Bad boys bad boys, whatcha gonna do...)

I think you can have someone else sleeve the block for you but I think it voids the warranty.

I would much rather wait for 4.0 VQ's to hit the junkyard. Torque should be the best part of the stroker kit. Proball more torque than horsepower especially on the high compression kit.

what is a stroker kit? Is that high compression? What does a stroker kit do? What is an FI? I am guessing it bores your motor because I see 4.3 everywhere. How much would it cost? Is there alot of modifications that need to be done like a turbo to install this? What kind of modifications if any?

basically a stroker kit increases displacement and therefore allows more air and fuel to mix and in turn providing more horsepower. FI = Forced Induction (Supercharger or Turbo). 3 variants for this kit. 2 variants are produced for NA (naturally aspirated) motors only, and the other is a high compression to be used with FI. For the answers to the rest of your questions read the posts for this thread - its all there.

more air coming in, equal more gas coming in. If you drive normally it should be almost as good as what you get now.

gas mileage would be decreased a little bit. lets not forget that bolt on modifications on 4.3L of disp. is gonna create more power than on 3.5L.

Sounds like a 4.3L VQ that's running 25+ psi would make one blindingly fast Z
sounds more like a Z that boils the tires til the motor blows to me. once you start gettin into forcing 25 lbs, obviously traction is a MAJOR issue. and most people you hear of boosting this high are only doing this in drag cars. these cars have built chassis' and rear ends to hook up all this power. if there were anyway to make the Z hookup with a blown 4.3L pushing 25lbs....you ARE gonna tear out your rear end. so bottom line is....anything more 1.2 bar on a 4.3L is pointless on the street.

the "psi testing" doesnt mean **** if you wanna get down to it. basically the block is tested with 50psi running thru it for 5 mins and they say its tested to that high. doesnt mean it can handle that amount of pressure for 10K miles. stock honda blocks have been tested up to 15 psi...but try running that in real life and you'll have a piston through the head and a rod through the block in a month.

i dunno if this has been adressed or not, i havent read the whole thread....but how is this affecting the rod ratio? do these sleeves have a larger bore?

what would be the best way to control fuel and everything for a stroker kit?
