When in doubt, lube it.

My clutch cable was squeaking recently. The dealer lubed it and it went away.
If you are hearing a really heavy mechanical sounding squeak then your screwed cause your clutch is gone.
Does the clutch make the sound when the car is off? Thats how you tell if its serious or not...

How did the dealer find a clutch cable on a hydraulic clutch?

A dab of white lithium on the pivot should take care of it. I'll try and find my squeakin mouse this weekend and post where to lube.

I have the same problem. I had the same problem years ago on my civic. It was a easy fix cause the tranny was right up front. I just sprayed some lube on the pivit where it went into the tranny. I know its the same problem on my G but I dont know where its on on the G.
