-- Quaife LSD -- ... want one?
After having a quaife ATB differential in my 97 maxima...I swear by them for mixed street and track driving. There are NO negatives to the quaife...only positives. I'll be buying one as so as they are available.
I had the KAAZ lsd in my car and switched to the stock vlsd just because of the annoyance factor from the KAAZ. I will switch to the quaife as soon as they are available as well.

Handling characteristics on the Maxima (FWD) vs. the Z (RWD) are apples to oranges. I have been considering the Quaife, but the idea of losing TQ split upon inside rear tire lift , doesn't sound appealing. Can't wait to hear Sharifs result with the ATS carbon unit.
Minor update.
We're shooting for end of June availability. The estimate is far from being set in stone, so the usual disclaimer applies. What I can say is they are already 'in production' at the factory. Cost figures is still yet to be release at the this point. I personally do not expect the street price to be far from other Quaife LSD offerings.

Does anyone have a complete rear axle and pumpkin / diff that I can do a bolt on upgrade with for my 2004 AT sedan. Mostly looking for the final drive gearing improvement.

Can a vehicle equipped with a Quiafe limited slip differential be driven in inclement weather? I have a set of Blizzacks on stock rims that I intend to place back upon my Z in a few months when snow delivery starts again. A few pages back in this thread it was mentioned that Hummers equipped with gear differentials were encountering difficulties in low traction situations. If I were to acquire a Quiafe LSD would I encounter similar issues and/or would I be better off considering a clutch-type LSD for this reason?
