Charles are there any adverse effects of installing the walbro early. I dd this car and am slowly doing my project install. If i were to put the walbro in before it was needed for FI and do the following ,mods would my ecu freak out and would I be able to fix that with my utec.

if installed correctly, it will not change anything at all... nothing should act any different and it should have no effects on the tune or anything

Very helpful info.
I modified my fuel assembly pump for my APS kit. I now am installing the CJM S1 & need to know if the 12mm hole I made is too large. It says .0430" in your instructions.

yes 12mm is larger than .430", the hole is too large. you will have to improvise.

Just by looking at the pieces I knew the answer, it's been a long time since the APS install.
Sure U don't mean .430" ?

ahh no wonder why my fuel pressure is so high, didnt drill the regulator. i guess a RFS will take care of that

Is it absolutely necessary to drill it out like that? Would it make my car run safer? Will this method have issues like the turbonetics way of doing it would?

Forgive me if this sounds stupid, but 0.070 is a bit size? I'm just used to seeing them labeled differently.

Can this bit be found at any hardware store?
