You forget im running the Computech Datamaxx LCD with standalone sensors. If you are using the stock gauge cluster you would need to run the factory coolant temp in the extra spot in the back of the passenger side head and use the stock ECU.

Is that 2700 with a full cage? If so, even after extensive lightening, that's pretty darn impressive.

yah know with the current prices of ls2's i wonder if anyone has thought about viper v10? seems like you can get engine trans for just a tiny bit more then the ls2 or the same price if hold out and wait for one to pop up cheap.

I don't know if the viper motor will fit in our chassis. Check out this Silva with a viper motor.

^expect to spen alot of money on the motor and trans, and also the cost per $ isnt close to that of an lsx motor. the problem with the viper motors lies in headwork. they can make alot of n/a power with a shitton of expensive headwork. i recommend checking out viperalley.com and looking up prices, proven parts, etc. the 8.3l srt10 motor makes ok power on stock heads, id look into the roe racing cam. the newer 8.4 twin tb motors make insane amounts factory, and respond very very well to mods. then again, youd be etting much different results based on how your exhaust and intake piping is routed due to it being in a car that motor wasnt designed to be in. vipers are touchy and make alot of power if the headers are scavenged properly, id be interested to see what can and cant be done with this motor swapped in.

bbs I don't know if it will fit "properly" though. Look how much room you have between your intake and the radiator. I don't know the dimensions of the viper motors, but they may not physically fit without EXTENSIVE modifications.

A bit disappointed in the lack of updates from all the LS swaps in progress. Is anyone out there making progress on their builds?

Has anyone attempted an LSA (Cadillac CTS-V) swap? Seems like it would be similar in every way to an LSX swap, except for the clearance of the Supercharger on top of the engine.

Thanks
