Any of you guys know if 180 degree headers will fit with a LS1 swapped G35 or 350Z?
I think they sound sick...

Probably be easier to have a flat plane crank custom made.....But that's not all you'd need done for that to work.

Bottom line is that those headers in the pictures are designed for a transaxle... not a transmission.

So question. With a chasebays harness do I still need to remove the VATS from the GM ecu? I wanna start the car and make sure everything is good before the tuner comes over. What's everyone done?

Made my own harness and removed vats

I can't imagine you wouldn't have to remove vats with a chase bays harness but could be wrong

So I got a 98 vette ecu, and I have no spark and no fuel pump. What can I do. On the chasebays harness, do you need to hook up the 4 wires out of the bcm for water temp, mil light, vss, and the other one. Tryin to be this thing figured out... Can anyone help?

So niw i have a ecu that has the vats deleted and a bunch more so it should work to start the car. I still have no spark and no fuel.. Theres no wire in the ecu connector for a crank positioning sensor power and my obd port dosent work. So i have no idea where to start with this thing. Any advice?

I am having the same issues. I am swapping an ls1 into a friends 240 and he has the chasebays plug and play harness. There's nothing we actually wired up. Just plugged everything in. Friday evening, I checked voltages on the ECU and long story short, every pin had 12v except for the 12v inputs with the key on. And this is why he does not have fuel or spark among other things. All the grounds are hot, with the ecu disconnected and the 12v inputs seem to be grounded. He sent his harness back to chasebays so they can check it out. Chasebays sent him a 2 day Fedex return label. They are taking care of it.

Ditch your pre-made harness and wire it yourself or take it to shop that can do it for you. I don't care if it is Sikky, Hinson or Chase Bays they are all problematic.

I keep saying that people doing ths swap should just buy a standalone with its own harness. Way easier, cheaper and better performing.

Very nice Quamen..Car is a beast...

Okay boys and girls, I am about to get my custom exhaust made and was wondering if any of you guys would be interested in buying a exhaust that would bolt up to your longtube sikky headers. My Fab guy is going to make a jig for it so it should fit perfectly.

I went with a pre made harness from current performance.com. had to wire a couple of wires in but it actually works. sideways and endless I know it can be a pain getting ahold of someone at chasebays but you can call or shoot me a email. I have wiring diagrams that might can help and I'm familiar with the harness and the swap. 205-365-0091 or email me logandbrewer@gmail.com

Make your own. Then if it fails you can only blame yourself not others.
