Still having issues with charging but at 13v with the mechman not sure what the problem is.

Car is off the road for the winter(canada)

The car is in the fab shop getting somethings done

power steering fittings and new reservoir
new coolant overflow tank
new catch can and lines
custom crash bar on the front(stock one is restricting flow to the intercooler / bulky
fixing an exhaust rattle(touching W brace)
coil pack bracket spacers are getting welded to the bracket(was unfinished)

Just ordered
Z1 trunk hydraulics arms
Trunk poppers
shorty antenna
Rear window wiper removal plug
Special cam shaft seals from drift motion - as mine are leaking internally
New set of large Oem Toyota filters
Tomei 70mm Shift ****
New oem oil cap

Looking to order
Headlight lenses
Driver Door handle
I need a Canadian Cluster with approximately 170-190,000k ( hard to find), as my coolant gauge doesn't work properly

I am either going to paint or wrap the car next year possibly( needs some body work/small rust removal

Just a quick update - Lost interested in the car for a while used it for a daily driver since it was fun to drive.

The ACT clutch finally gave out. Put over 40,000 KM on the swap with 0 issues until now also my forward facing intake manifold is cracked currently(just noticed as I installed the engine yesterday).

ACT clutch pooched and throw out bearing so messed up,

should be round ( that isn't even from me removing it either lol)

nothing left

pressure plate so worn.

might as well consider this a fail

I have now under taken a revamp on the car again, interest sparked again after she broke it made me realize how much I miss her.

Forward facing intake is being repaired as we speak but I may potentially replace it with the following intake(waiting on fitment details).
https://www.cncinnovationsmy.com/pro...d?currency=CAD

New ACT clutch kit, same one as before but with a revised pressure plate, ditched the Collins shifter and throw out bearing(Now using OEM throw-out bearing and GK Tech shifter).

NEW CD00A

New collins flywheel surface

GK tech shifter mounted.

new clutch installed - tranny and engine are already in the car and mostly hooked up. Waiting on the intake and a few other little odds and ends.

Gutted everything under the car and cleaned/Undercoated / Cleaned every bolt/Replaced them/ Cleaned all rusted parts and painted them.

New ISR Solid subframe/Diff bushings, Energy Suspension bushings on everything including the rack and Moog control arms all around. BC racing coil-overs (not true coil-overs but got them used for a good price).

P2M adjustable sway bar links, FDF W brace.

Brand new CD00A, Diff cleaned / painted/ Z1 diff cover and Z1 Diff brace also custom oil cooler and pump for the Diff.

ISR rear camber arms, ISR traction arms (Waiting for these still on back order until August 18th.

Painted / Wrinkle coated the engine bay

RJM Adjustable clutch pedal (not installed yet).

Aluminum Air diverter(for the radiator area), Aluminum under shroud, New fender liners(still waiting on 2 of them).

Added New Oil pressure sensor for the Link ECU(Separate from the stock gauge one), Added Delphi oil temp sensor, Added a fuel pressure sensor as well(Requested by the tuner).

Changed from rubber hoses to AN fittings to the heater core, New check valve for the brake booster as the old one was broken(got rid of the horrid grey pipe that wraps around the engine going to nothing).

New emergency brake pads, rotors, brake pads, Bearings all around (370z bearings and axles in the back).

Picking up a carbon fiber hood this up coming Friday(won't be installed right away needs hood pins).

That is all for now.

Workshop 12 order was quick, quality was great easy to install a bit difficult to setup but works good now.

Intake is still not shipped after i had ordered it they told me approximately 14 business days to my door, I didn't find this out until after the order.

I saw on the facebook group I am part of that other people who ordered recently (3 months), had gotten their orders in 3 - 4 days.

They are really lacking on communication skills and don't quite understand what I am saying most of the time, it seems like.

I am starting to get a little concerned as it has been almost a full month, and they still have not given me a shipping date(contacted yesterday by them

Unfortunately I may have to repair the old intake and contact my credit card company regarding this purchase. I will give it one more week before I start bombarding them with daily phone calls and if that doesn't work, I will be forced to contact the credit card company. I have been super nice to them and polite, respectful etc... I don't understand why you would quote 14 business days, They also said anodizing only takes 5 business days(it took 14 business days before they even got back to me). They asked for the throttle body size about 2 weeks ago and said they are making it and will be shipping it soon. then dead silence, with (sorry for the inconvenience and delay . They responded to me yesterday (I will check the status of your order and get back to you as soon as possible). So like I said I will give them a couple days to contact me but tomorrow is Monday in Malaysia so hopefully they get back to me by the end of the week or I will make one last attempt and then do a charge back through my credit card company.

so I just asked for an update on how long the fuel rails will take and now they have added another 7 to 10 business days.

Honestly I am choked at this point and have politely asked them to speed up the process, as they never stated it would take more than 6 weeks to complete. I also told them I will be contacting Mastercard if there are anymore delays. I hate to be that guy but don't give me an estimated time and then go back on it.

CNC Innovations.

I have an update I called them last night and politely told them how unhappy I was with the situation and they kept apologizing to me.

They kept making excuses about the order having a problem such as the manifold had to be remade as there was an issue, then they told me the fuel rail had an issue as well and needed to be remade.

After they told me that I posted this to their email

"

The CNC machining process may be a very fast and efficient way of creating a product, but the sequence of events written in a CNC program is created by a human. It is this human element that creates the potential for mistakes to happen.

How can you make a mistake with the manifold and fuel rail if the machine is already programmed ? As discussed on the phone with your representative. It is not my fault you made a mistake and i should be compensated for lost time.
"

I also threatened to go to mastercard and asked for a refund - within an hour of talking to the person in the phone they emailed me and replied there is no issue with my order sorry for the miscommunication and they will be posting it tomorrow.

I had also told them that they will have a loss of potential customers as, i am a part of many car groups and will share my experience with their service.

I didn't wanna have to be a Karen about it but they should have been honest at the start of the order.

So the manifold arrived and I am not very happy about it.

1. I was told that the intake manifold gasket would be included as well as throttle body gasket and all bolts including a throttle cable bracket, I didn't get any of that......

2. The AN/Barb fittings have metal shavings inside them as well as chunks of metal.

3. The intake manifold arrived damaged - looks like damage from them sanding the billet logo as the anodizing is hazy and scratched in several places on the manifold/fuel rails.

4. The fuel brackets are too tall by 1/4 or 1/2 of an inch, so my fuel injectors don't fit and I need a spacer custom made now, they didn't include bolts for the fuel rails to the manifold.

5. The custom service was terrible and and slow. The product took almost 5 weeks to get, even though the site states nothing about production time, I assumed they would be in-stock.

6. They lied to me several times over email and the phone. (they told me that it would take 5 business days to anodize the manifold and it would ship out. It then turned into 14 business days, and then again another 10, and again another 10 days.

7. The last 10 business days didn't happy because I complained to them over the phone and the women admitted to me that the manifold needed to be remade and the fuel rail had a mistake(im thinking the scratches on both of them), I then emailed them again and they told me there wasn't a problem with the manifold or fuel rail and it would be shipped next day, It took 3 business days for them to ship it.

I asked them for a partial refund or for them to send me another manifold.

The only positive side is

I now have the manifold and can begin assembling the car again, and that the intake runners line up and match the oem holes.

The fuel rails fits but need spacers.

I need to pick up fuel injector o-rings and figure out what I need for the spacers. I am gonna reuse my old teflon gasket, it is broken between the runners in one spot but it still seals there will just be an air gap there, as I would have to wait weeks for a new intake manifold gasket.

Anyways heres the damage and all

I posted 1 star google review and now they are making a bunch of fake accounts to bring their rating back up, Literally some of them were posted the next day and they even used their company email to review themselves lol.

Heres the emails I had with them I left out the real bad stuff from about 4 days ago with threatening them with mastercard etc.....

I would never order from them ever again, if you do the manifold is better than the china one but honestly not worth the money.

Made 499 whp on 93 shell. 525 on e65 having an issue with fuel pressure drop on e65. Possibly my filter is plugged or the voltage on the pump is low.

Happy to hear it’s up and running -

How does the engine bay look with the new manifold in?
