Almost finished the fuel pump/ sending unit. I was lucky enough to find a used one locally for a good price as one of my spring holders is broken. Just gotta tighten the bottom hose clamp, solder and heat shrink the wires and add a hose clamp to hold the pump in place.
The pump is a walbro 450 if anyone was wondering.
Hoping to get the fuel lines ran to the engine bay this weekend and hoping to install the motor Tuesday or Wednesday.

So after lots of swearing I could get the fuel assembly to go into the tank. I am so high on gas fumes.
I figured out why the last fuel tank hanger was broken, the tank was bent upwards which caused the spring mechanism to snap.
So I pounded the tank out with a 2x4 and a sledge hammer and now its straightened out and fits....but the damn gas fumes had me going crazy haha

The fuel lines are in hardest part was getting them to fit around the fuel tank took a bit of prying with a pry bar.
I only ran the lines half way waiting for engine to be in to find the final position. The run up right next to the manifold / Down pipe which is concerning

Well I bit of a hick up, I was flustered today and didn't read the torque specs on the clutch pressure plate.....bolt snapped in the flywheel.
Damn I really gotta pay more attention, it's gonna cost me a few $ to get it extracted at the machine shop.
Also I am now wondering about the stock, 350z clutch fork doesn't seem to be locking into place on the pivot ball.
It seems to lift off the ball when i press on the clutch fork, maybe I should order the upgraded one and just wait a few weeks?

Taking a break away from the car for a bit, Need to order the 2006 350z clutch fork and pivot ball.
Currently I have the 2003 fork/pivot ball, which is too weak for the ACT stage 5 clutch.
Flywheel is ready to be picked up at the machine shop.
I am just waiting till payday to order a clutch fork/pivot ball, funds are tight atm, because of the turbo payments.
I gotta slow down I was rushing things too much. It's not like I can drive it, when it's done as it wont be driven in the winter anyways.

So I got the clutch fork and pivot ball today, I didnt realize I needed a 2006 throw out bearing spring/clip.
So another delay, damn I'm getting s bit frustrated.
Just when you think you can bolt the trans to the block you realize you missed something....
Anyways delayed until Thursday.

Raggan - please please please put solid mounts in … it will be soooo worth it. I had some fabricated but the Z1 six-shooter will be perfect and will give you more space in that area.

Hey I appreciate the input but I've had solid motor mounts in the past and they are awful for a daily driven car. The dash viberates etc...
