Default Real Weight of a 350z

We have since been trying to find out why my Z is so light.
I've heard stock 350z Tourings weigh in around 3300-3400.
I took my car to a scale and weighed myself which was accurate, i weigh about 176. With clothes and shoes easily 180. So heres the results.
Feel free to chime in with your idea of whats going on. THe scale is in N. San Jose so anyone wanting to go there i can show you to find out if this is BS or not.

My Z w/driver 3360
My Z alone 3180

Here is a list of mods that could affect this number

Lighter-----------------------------Savings/More Weight
Exhaust System --------------------20lbs lighter
Rims & Tires ------------------------Anyone know the weight?19x8.5 19x9 245's & 275's
Stock suspension -------------------How much do Zeals weigh?
Koyo Radiator-----------------------3lbs lighter
JWT Clutch & Flywheel (cams?)------14lbs lighter

Additional Items
APS KIT----------------------------75-100lbs
300ZX Oil Cooler--------------------2lbs
Larger oil capacity------------------2lbs

I have a track, weighed it with half tank of gas, and my weight is 185; my car with driver tipped at 3421. How much gas was in it? Simple question but sometimes people forget simple things_ did you zero the scales? Now you have 100 more lbs with the turbo kit but the numbers still don't jive

The koyo is lighter but i guess if it holds that much more fluid its heavier?
I have the spare and all that. Something isn't adding up right. Either the z's are lighter than everyone thinks or this scale is wrong. Whats confusing is my weight is right and I payed close attention to getting the car exactly in the middle and everything. Hmmmm. Im gonna find out because its driving me nuts.

Like mentioned, how much fuel was in it?

3180 is only ~20lbs. off of what Nissan claims with most of the 350Z models. Though I would think the touring would be slightly heavier.

I think I had about 3/4 tank left maybe a lil less? I heard somewhere the Touring was 3300. I don't think any of my fluids are that low to where if I topped everything completely off including gas it would add 120lbs. Does anyone have the manual or anything handy that lists this.

Well, 3/4 tank is about 40lbs off of what it would if it was full. So the vehicle weight is about right.

Nissan says the Touring model's weight is 3300lbs, a little more like 3320 maybe... I'm assuming that is wet weight.

My car (also a touring) weighed 3200 even with 1/4 gas, no spare, no jack/tools, nismo rims with 245/275 at the Englishtown raceway park's scale. I had the leather/heated seats in with the seat back storage if that counts.

Default Nissan VIN DECODED

I found this site the other day. You put in your vin number and it tells you almost everything about YOUR car.

3180 is only ~20lbs. off of what Nissan claims with most of the 350Z models. Though I would think the touring would be slightly heavier.[/QUOTE]
