Red should be easier. Same voltage so you don't need resistors; drop in replacement.

I am interested in the blue writeup as well. Nice work Acree.

Hey, those were pix of your car that Alex sent me? I'm getting blackfaced gauges and it'll be white on black like the DEFI-BF gauges. I already have the door switches and A/C controls modded white with the indicator lighting up blue. The LEDs were of a different kind (0805) when I bought them, but I'm pretty creative ;-)

I do have the correct PLCC2 LEDs ready to be swapped in the gauges (white with red needles)

Alex @ BlackCatCustom should have a drawing ready for me tomorrow. I can't wait to get this car done, but New Years is coming quick so I'm not sure if I can get it done this week.

Yeah they probably of my car. The white will look nice. But what do you mean new years? I'm confused. Wasn't that like 3 weeks ago?

Yea, Alex sent me pictures of your car with the blue lighting. Blue is nice, but it's too much for my eyes. I decided to stick to all white that's "blacked out" when off. It should work in theory, but I am currently debating about changing the resistor values to get the most out of my white LEDs. I didn't have to change them with the switches and controls figuring the current brightness is ample at night.

New Years? It's Chinese New Years (for me, it's Tet for Vietnamese).
