How does the blue do in the daytime?

The only thing holding me back is seeing a S2000 with blue LED conversion on the interior and you couldn’t see a damn thing in the daytime.

Being able to see during the day time all has to do with the color of the gauge face and markings. You need to select a high contrast color scheme. Since mine is white/silver, it's decent during the day. The silver has a pearl in it that makes it reflective, making it kinda bounce out at you in the sunlight.

I turn my lights on all the time, even when its daytime so my color would be on as well, thats why I ask.

In that case, the blue shines through very well on the stereo and ac controls.

Personally I don't have any extras. I would suggest searching on mouser for another manufacteur of the same led and resistor type. There are hundreds of companies on mouser.com.

Acree Did this Mod on my Z last weekend. It took a long time But its great. There is a few things we need to work out with the gauge faces but other than that it looks great.

The Blue on the trip computer Is a Little hard to see in DIRECT BRIGHT SUNLIGHT, but everything else you can see just fine.

Sorry the Pics suck

chazzq, very nice indeed. Where is that glow around your temp controls coming from? Is it just the light from the nav/gauges etc? Or are there hidden LEDs? Looks very sharp.

That is from the dome light conversion I did for him. When you open the door or unlock the car, it's blue. Anytime you push it in, the blue light turns off and a bright white turns on. The white is much more functional, but it still allows for an accent. I am able to do these overnight, so you wouldn't be without a domelight for very long.

And here is the link to mine with a video of how it works.

There is a huge price difference, and I can do any color combination you want. PM me if interested.

You need to take a wide flat head screw driver and pry gently under the needle. Be cafeful not to break it! Good luck on the install. Make sure you take reference pics for reassembly!

And for the center console gauges, do we need different resistor?? Because my digital gauge is hard to see em..I ordered new gauge faces from Alex at the BlackCatCustom today..I thought I could sand the back off..But I was wrong..so..Anyway...I was wondering if we need any new resistor..

Nope. No resistors are required. You have to remember blue is a very strange color. Yes it is appealing, but it tends to dissappear, especially during bright daylight.
