Default 350Z Aftermarket Tail Lights

Hey guys, just got my 2003 350Z roadster last week and looking at ways of making it look just that little bit sexier. I'm quite a conservative person so I won't be doing any extreme stuf such as body kits etc etc.

I came across these tail lights and they rock my jocks! Anyone know anything about these, whether I can find these cheaper, opinions on how they look etc etc

This is my Z if you's were curious:

You think THOSE make the Z look sexier?!

Wow... just wow.

Those are worse than almost any body kit you could do to the Z.

If you want it to look sexier, start saving for some nice 19" wheels and a drop. Then stop there.

If you want sexier tails, order the OEM 2006 LED tails. Courtesy has them for less than 400 a pair and you won't look like a 2001 Honda civic driver.

They are not aftermarket, just a Nissan JDM option. Cool choice Forget the ht8ers and get what YOU like.

Checkout these threads as yours is gonna get moved there anyhow...

Eh? Great, I post a friendly thread and I get attitude and sarcasm. I don't see where body kits have to come into this. Don't get me wrong, I accept criticism, but lighten up champ.

I don't think I need to lower my Z.. It looks lowered enough.. If I lower it anymore than it is, it will just look like any other "civic" and look like he's dragging his **** on the road.

When you talking about Z tail lights looking like a civic, you mean something like these ay? Now these look like something a civic driver would buy. http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merch...gory_Code=EA35

Eh? I've been in the Z world much longer than you my friend and I've lived and learned along the way. Clear taillights of any nature are pretty hideous to me on the Z, as well as most other Z enthusiasts. Some 19" Wheels and a drop are about the 'sexiest' thing you can do to a Z. Check out the Picture Share and tell me those Z's, mine included, look like a Civic b/c they are dropped and sitting on 19s.

I simply post some friendly criticism so you don't get made fun of by 98% of Z enthusiasts and you don't want to accept it. That's fine...

I don't really care what you do with your Z car; rice away if you please! But be ready to take criticism if you are going to post pictures and mods on this board.

I can tell you I am one of the biggest Z enthusiasts around and try to beep and wave or flash every other Z (240-350) I see on the road. I probably wouldn't wave or beep at a Z with those tails b/c I'd think its some teen thats upgraded from his 1995 Honda Civic showcar. That's all...

joekool, get them, they look awesome!
I mean you are not getting these so someone wave or beep at your Z, right?

Like I said, he can do as he pleases... He best learn to accept criticism though if he is going to exist on this board.

That's really the 'moral of the story'. He got bent out of shape b/c I said I didn't like them... He'll get much more harsh comments if he has any sort of lengthy tenure here.

Oh well, at least he's in Australia.

I don't think they look too bad, but I'd definetely go with the 06 stock lights though. That is, if you don't mind paying the high price tag.

Have any of you considered applying those colored headlight lenses? I wanted to get a pair of blue ones, but according to the MD DMV anything other than white or amber lenses in your car is subject to a ticket/fine.
