You are correct mikeg8r. The Zignalz have 2 circuits just like you explained. There are 34 LEDs directly behind the "Z" for the turn signal circuit.

The **INTENDED FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY** is put in all the packages due to the different colors offerred and to cover us legally.

 

I've had my "Z4-style" fender emblems for about a year now.
I got them from www.ctd-germany.com
They're not the LED ring ones that were being sold by EVO-R...I guess my issue was the double-sided tape holding the LED ring and the emblem...I felt anyone could walk up and grab it or whatever...I also felt water, dirt, & debris could easily compromise the integrity of the double-sided tape.

I preferred a one-piece unit.
CTD-Germany.com was ONE of the first to the market with this.
Very reasonably priced for the unit, despite all the USD to EUR conversions.
The one thing that killed me is the shipping from Germany which almost cost as much as the unit itself.

I think I have a crude camera phone pic or video somewhere, but their website shows the best example...I just liked the super white bulbs better than the orange they have in their example...it matches the whole Daytona Blue thing as well as my other signals. too bad the orginal zignals emblem are not available, would like to improve on them
try contacting the inventor but on response.

For about $200 Zcar Zero sells some really good Z emblems. http://joycart7.net/zzero2007/detail.php?seq=241&kw=

Those are the ones I want but they're for the Z34. I'm asking to see if they'll fit on a 33.
