My buddy bought some LED lights for the inside of his TSX, They are map/Dome lights that stay on when driving but very dim, and when the door/doors are open the led lights become way brighter.

I dont know about you guys but I hate plain yellowish/whiteish stock dome lights in my Z.

So I ordered some from ebay for my 350z for 15 bucks! and I also replaced the trunk light inside the car with a Blue LED.

I hear all the new cars have LED's and not yellow bulbs, Acura TL's for instance come with a blue light thats alway on.

I very JDM and if this was "rice" in any way I would never buy this, but man it looks GOOD!

Anyone else do this? or have pix?, I'll post soon as I get them here from Ebay!

My other car is an '03 Accord coupe, and it has the same map/courtesy lights when the headlights are on. They're kinda red/orange to go along with the gauge cluster- subtle but nice.

 

Our interior is . not the best looking.. thats for sure.. my gf RX8 is much cleaner and have much better looking feel to it in the night. the 2002 etc AUDI s4's was another car that i thought had great interior. It had LEds fitted in the rear view mirror shooting down so that it lit up the center console with a light red glow to it.

 

Keep those old lamps. I am in the commercial lighting industry and can tell you that LED technology isn't 100% rock solid. There are good LED's and bad ones. We have studied some table lamps and found the light output dropped in half in a matter of weeks. It's all a matter of good design with good LED's and electronics.
