Aftermarket seats
I am interested in next year maybe switching out the stock seats for aftermarket.
I bought a set of Corbeau SR1 seats for my truck and they were noticiably sitting higher than the stock bench seat, so much so that I sold them ASAP because the return policy was a joke. Also they were the narrower size, which were too narrow for me. I have heard others say that the Corbeau's sit higher than the stock Z's seats too.
What I want are seats that are the same height seat bottom as stock, so I won't get nose bleeds and have to worry about enough head room.. If anything they could be a tad lower than stock but NOT any higher than stock for sure.
Are there any good brands foir about <$1,500 for a set, with brackets? Slighly wider seats than stock would be a big plus and almost a must.

I bought corbeaus also. Micro a4 with sliders were about 1200 for wide version. 50 bucks a seat they will shave the bottoms and get flush brackets and thats about the best your gonna get.

fyi: any machine shop in your area with a decent fabricator can build you seat bases that are lower then stock. just use your yellow pages and have them modify your existing wedge brackets.
or just buy the tanabe low-rails....
