I think someone has already posted a thread like this a couple months back. If I remember correctly, I think members suggested him into getting a light weight battery such as Optima or somthing like that. As changing it to the back would be a hassle.

Keep in mind that if u do ---U will have to run a Cable comporable to a Welding Cable to carry the current the distance. Plus- since space and weight is not a prob, I would run a Deep Cycle Marine Battery
But fact is, I would just leave it alone and go with a L/W Bat.

Not really worth it. Get the lightweight yellowtop (D51R)or the braille.

There are probably a bunch of threads if you search. I know I've read them before. I'm pretty sure you can buy kits from JCW or Summit. Not sure if they are Z specific but you could probably find something that works. I don't really think it's worth all the effort though.

searching and searching. cant find. used the words battery, relocation, trunk etc etc. those kits are only the box

you see i have put my car on a hard diet. specially in the rear. carbon hatch. no interior etc etc. and now a heavy TT kitt in the front.

and i need more traction and my hatch cant take a spoiler/wing so i think i battery in the trunk would help me a bit on the way and to compansete for two heavy turbos in the front

I did this with my '90 Mustang LX 5.0, and it really helped with the front turn in. Take Eazzy's advise by using the largest guage cable that you can use (1 guage) and make sure that you attach the ground cable to the original spot. Keep in mind that most people that needed this is because the battery was forward of the front axle. The fact that the Z's battery is located well behind the front axle, I really don't think that you would notice that big of a difference.

If you do choose to do it, make sure you take pix and post.
