Problem with putting an LED bulb in that stock location is that the bulb is recessed in there and the light that gets to the strip is largely reflected from the side of the bulb via the housing. Most LED bulbs shoot the light stright out the front of the bulb and not much light will be reflected to light the strip. I've tried it before and was very dissapointed with how dim the strip was with an LED bulb compared to stock. You might try one of the blue-tinted "Hyper-white" regular bulbs instead.

I need to start doing that. You come up with anything good for the parking 168/194 bulbs in the lower part of the headlight housing?
