LED Z Emblem Idea
Hey guys, I have done quite a few searches on aftermarket light up Z side emblems and have seen a few different types. I came up with a little bit different idea that I have yet to see and wanted not only to seek your opinion on it, but maybe seek the help of some electronic guru's that are good with circuit boards and custom fabricated pieces like this.
I am definitely not good at this kind of thing, but I figured if I took an hour or so and fabed up my idea in a rough form, someone with better skills than I could take it and run with it.
Again, this is just a rough idea, not a finished product. Let me know what you guys think about it and if anyone might be interested in taking the idea and running with it a bit further.
I have included a few pictures of my basic idea. As you can see, I just used a piece of scrap carbon fiber to mount the LED's on and glued it to the back side of the stock Z emblem which I drilled out the three small holes in so the light could be seen through it.
Let me kwow what you think of the idea.

Hate to break this to you, but you just re-invented the wheel...

Kudos on making your own, though!

Actually, if your price is significantly lower than courtesyparts, then I would be interested. $130 isn't the best price around.
You could also do a combination such as having 3 LED in the squares AS WELL AS Zignals.
