Default 350z rear woofer panel removal

I have been looking all over for instructions on how to remove the rear woofer panel behind the driver’s seat. I'm trying to install my basslink back there. Anybody know how to do this?

If you're talking about the metal, you'll have to remove all the plastics from that rear section first. The top side that goes across the car comes off first.

Bad news is you gota rip out half your interior to do it. Good news is you'll have to pull the console anyway to run wires.

Follow posts 1-7 of this tutorial:

THEN:
-open the glove box and remove the two screws around the latch.
-Pop that whole rear panel out and disconnect the 12v power socket.
-remove the 10-12 bolts holding that woofer panel in place, pull it out and discard it.

Thanks for the info. I know how to remove the center console and already ran my wires back. I'm having trouble removing the rear panel with the 12v power socket. this one;

You say after I remove the two screws in the glove box.

That the rest of the rear panel will just pop out? I was pulling hard but I was afraid to break something.

Yes, it just pops off. I believe you have to pull those quarter panel pieces first, though, since they overlap this piece.

So do i have to remove the 12v power socket first before i start pulling the full panel off?

I'm having the same problems. I got half of the panel off, but to the point were the power socket is, it gets really hard. I dont want to break anything, help please?

I managed to remove the bose panel without taking off the whole back cover. You should be able to just get enough room to remove all of the bolts, and slide the panel out...

Oh, and on the basslink, dont use the line level inputs if you are using hte stock headunit.

Nope, panel pops off, then unplug the socket from the back.
