Best way is to use your same 05 wiring harness from your original lights. Remove the wires from the 06 harness and insert them into your 05 harness in the same positions. Splice the extra blue wire into the green and black wire. Both wires are for the turn signals.

Not hard at all, and no fabrication necessary.

Easy stuff, tho I think it would be a better idea to use a wire harness. The hallogen wires are not ment for HID power and can one day lead to some problems and worst case a fire.

A simple relay can be be built to use your headlight signal as a trigger for direct power from the battery.

Hockey,

Wouldn't that mean that the power source would have to come directly from the battery? I would think that the car side of the wiring harness would use the same gauge wire. Gauge of is the only characteristic copper wire that will determine power handling capabilities. My undestanding is that the HID and Halogen have the same voltage and current requirements. Am I wrong on this one?
