Default HIDs on a basic 350

hey ya'll, i just got my Z last sat, its a basic 350z w/ black exterior. and i noticed that i couldnt seem to find the headlight plugs from under the hood, there were so much things in the way a baby couldnt fit their hands inside let alone my hand. so question is, does anyone know how to change maybe just the bulbs to sliverstars or HIDs. if HIDs and recommendations? and cost of it?

you will need to remove the plastic fender cover to access the bulbs.

Yeah, you have to take off your front wheels and your front plastic fender covers to get access to the housing. You'll need a H7 sized HID conversion kits. I just installed a HID Plus kit and am enjoying it immensely. There's a thread that skidazzle made about removing the front bumper. Check that thread out on how to take off your wheels and the inner plastic fender covers. Oh, and the passenger side is a biatch to mount the hid ballast.

I can sell you also a 7k kit for $450 shipped. Very easy to install, no cutting of any wires, all plug and play. I have it on my base model and it looks great. Kit is made by Lumko and comes with a 1 year warranty.... PM or email me if interested. Wheels and inner fender liner need to be removed to install. Then it takes about a 1/2 hour to doa neat job....

If the install is done properly, the cops won't know a difference cuz hids do come stock on our cars. The sizing is H7 for low beams and H1 for high beams.
