Default Quick release hub guys chime in

I would like to know for those of you that have had quick disconnect hubs on your car for about 2 years or more, have you had any issues occur with play in the assembly due to bearings and or bearing seats wearing out?

Things like slop or noisy, clicking, rattling bearings? particulary with NRG QR hubs.

I'm trying to find out how long they last with lots or little steering wheel removal intervals/use.

they seem to last a very long time. i've had the nrg quick release for over 2 years in my integra back then and the one i have now on my car for almost a year. no problems. i take it off and put it on all the time

^^its a pretty simple DIY job. A couple of bolts for the air is the hardest part.

Not worth paying somebody else to do

I think somebody would have a hell of a time finding a legit shop to remove an airbag, unless you have written permission by (i forgot who issues the permission) for a specfic health related type thing. I don't think they would consider my lead foot a health related issue.

Like the other guy said it's pretty simple, with the 2 torx air bag bolts being the tricky part, due to the thread lock crap Nissan puts on every nut and bolt from the factory..

tricky? It takes maybe 5-10 minutes to remove the factory steering wheel. It is simple

ya, no doubt.... reading all the threads and what-not on doing the install I will say I was a bit hesitant..... yet, installing an APS TT kit in my garage really wasn't that big of a deal

Got to the install and it was beyond simple. spent the majority of the time realligning the wheel to make it straight

When you say you spent most of the time trying to align the wheel, do you me matching up the splines correctly?
