Default brake light randomly turning on and other random stuff

i have a 05 roadster and I am having some issues with it. its still under warranty but i wanted to ask you.

my windows randomly roll down and sometimes dont go up, but if i hit the driver side door they do work again. I know its the motor BUT i took into the dealership and they were like we cant do anything about this, we cant replicate the problem but it happens all the time to me.

second problem is that lately i have noticed (i have a auto tranny) when i am in tip tronic mode, i will be driving and when i shift, randomly my break light will turn on, the light that shows that my hand brake is up? Anyone ever experience that issue?

what should i do in this instance?

The BRAKE light actually has 2 functions. 1) It tells you that teh Park brake lever is pulled, and 2) it tells you if the brake fluid reservoiir is low.

The window motors are crap and is a common item to fail. Sounds like you need both fixed.

The brake light means your fluid is low. You can add more fluid, but your pads are probably getting worn and will probably need replaced (along with turning or replacing the rotors). It would be advisable to check the pads & rotors before adding fluid.

Yes, I think it just needs to be reset. I'm not actually sure I've heard of anyone getting the motor physically replaced...the Nissan techs always seem to just reset them to fix any problems. If you're having any issues with the motor (windows not rolling up, only going halfway up/down, etc.) the motor reset always seems to fix it. If you're still under warranty, it's covered there. If not, maybe you can sweet talk them.
