Talking Satin Black Z

Hey, just picked this up and decided to go with Satin Black / Flat Black / Matte Black. The paint hasn't cured and there are specific instructions as to what you can and can't do to it before it cures. No wet sanding and polishing, not even wet sanding... it's a matter of washing the binders in the paint as they dry up so in a month it'll look how I actually want it to look, but this is how it looks for now:

it doesnt look finished. post pics when its cured, it looks too flat.

maybe some polish or a clear coat later would make it look more proffessional.

also your tails look faded.

oh man..... def looks flat, no satin there, its flat. Its just too flat. I am so glad I choose the finish I did. I don't know what you were trying to achieve b/c even those hot new high end cars aren't that flat. You still have a stock bumper I assume also?

You need to wetsand and reclear this car., something, anything

Well he hasn't prepped it yet, so don't think the final product will look like this.

With that said, those other flat black cars still have a little sheen to them

The car in it's current state reminds me of this CF Z

Rear bumper and side skirts don't match the body - they are more greyish. Did U do that yourself with spray cans? It looks really bad. (not a good way) Hope you fix it soon.
