Default Wind Noise

When I first start driving my car it seems like I am hearing a wind noise that sounds like either the window is slightly down (which it isnt) or that air is rushing around something making a high pitch sound. Has any one had any issues with this with vents, doors, mirrors, or hatch back making any noises?

i had noticed similar thing happening to me when i was on highway doing about 80+ .... but i didtn really do nething to fix it and it went away... not sure if it was through the side window or the vents.... try listening more closely and see where it might be coming from... most likely from ur side window...

IIRC it's the side mirror. The wind passes through the crack and makes a whistling high pitched sound... (that sounds dirty haha) unless you have a pop charger then it's just your foot donig the work

If the battery has ever been disconnected with the door(s) open then reconnected with the door(s) closed it can result in the window height being reset and not going all the way up. If I remember correctly the fix was to simply hold the switch up for an extended period of time and the system will reset itself.

It really only happens for the first 5-10 minutes...does this mean the windows finally close all the way after a while or does something change with the mirror? Sometimes it comes from the front of the windshield too....almost like ducting opening while the car is warming up and close once the car is up to temp (yes I know this is not really what happens just only way I know how describe it)

I know exactly what you mean, except I only get that whistling sound when the weather here is cold. I too feel like once the car warms up, it goes away. I don't see how thats possible, but it goes away within minutes. Its a mystery.
