I obv know the MG diffuser is a replica of the TS. But I hear there are also fake MG diffusers floating around, and I'm not sure if I just bought one. The reason I think it may be fake is because the underside looks very raw, just painted black, and very patchily...and some of the carbon threads are loose and sticking out. Also, one of the mounts, not the Z shaped one, but the part that just looks like a U, but long (width-wise) is really weird, its just a block of heavy resin with a sheet of carbon cloth inside, but the carbon cloth doesn't even fill up the resin, its like only half the length of it, and frayed everywhere. I don't really care what it looks like cause its a mount and no-one's going to see it, but I just want to know if you guys had the same experience, or if this is a fake.

mine didnt have any heavy resin spots or loose threads anywhere. it was great quality.

bought it off this vendor on ebay, he was selling a whole bunch of 'mg' stuff.

 

If it was under ~635 I would say that its probably fake.

I got it for the same price that Jim@showstoppers sold it for during his inventory clearance. It was right before he announced that, and the guy on ebay said that he bought a whole bunch of stuff from MG so it made sense to me. Anyway, I'm disputing the charge
