Audi style LED strips
Not really, there are sites that do the math for you. http://led.linear1.org/led.wiz Simple rule of thumb, any color running at 3.5v, in this case white, can be ran in a series circuit of four, it's all in the math. One more thing, you said each LED you are running puts out 25kmcd, at those power levels heat starts to become an issue, not to mention the heat generated by the bi-xenon already. Long story short, your LEDs are going to burn out very quickly.
FYI, AJ Panchal's original designs show the Zed with LED strip sidelights, LED sidemarkers and LED's in the door handles where the 3 square dots are for illumination when you open the car.... The only reason these wernt on the original car was down to production costs...
It'll be real interesting to look at.
He gave us a talk at the UK Owners yearly meet. He had drawings used for the talk with him which he kindly auctioned off... As there not "scanable" I can ask the guys that won the auction to take a photo and post that up if your interested... The guy kindly signed all our cars too!!
I think you had a unique way of doing the Halo mod. Props for that!
You have added information to the community. Props for that!
Sometimes, one may be serving as an example of what NOT to do. I am sure I have worn those shoes once or twice in my life. I would like to think that in each example, I (and others) learned valuable lessons at my expense.
So, in this case, the community learned what closely-spaced LED strip lights look like.
Additionally, the community learned that great care needs to be taken when drilling into the headlight surround.
If movies are to be believed, doctors practice on cadavers to learn how to work on live patients without killing them.
In this case, I think your lights served as the cadavers.
If you want to turn your lights from cadavers to zombies (back from the dead and 10X cooler!), hit me up on www.conoc.net (COlorado Nissan Owners Club). We are kinda-sorta local to you, and I will be hosting a tech day in June to work on headlight mods.
