Hey guys, want to share some pics....It was a matter of time before I could get to this....I wasnt very happy with the cheap premade boards ...so i made my own

44 p4 style superflux from digikey
22 smt 221 resistors
1 pq12rd21 volt reg

alittle mod on the top left corner of the housing was required to keep both sides with the same pattern...

 

Nice mod. I already modded mine. It takes a while to get used to the brightness. It rules.

 

so that board already had that shape and that many leds on it from radio shack or you built it up? if so you have p/n?

Silver-Bearing Solder .............................................Radioshack#: 64-035

75-Ft. UL-Recognized Hookup Wire ...........RadioShack #: 278-1224




Optional parts
PQ12rd21...........Extends LEDs lifetime by a fix voltage
Tantalum Capacitors .....Extends LED lifetime by filtering noise from your alternator
Rectifier Diode .........Reverse Polarity Protection maily for PnP projects

Can we get some more info on what voltage the LEDs are, and do you have it wired as parallel or series in the circuit and how many separate circuits for the LEDs you have?

Does it fire just like OEM ones where it gets progressively brighter? or does it just go WHAPAW and its on.
