Since everybody seems to switch the OEM antenna for the shorter S2000 or RDX one. I decided to modify my OEM one just to be different, and I really like the way it came out. Hope some of you like it.

 

did you just cut it or what? if you did what did you use?

 

What I did was I cut the antenna to where I wanted it. Then I cut the top part off at its base. I took the top part and drilled into it from the bottom slowly about 1/4 inch deep. I put some crazy glue on the skinny antenna portion, and capped it with the top part.

 

Did it mess up the reception? Cause if it didn't im doing that this weekend lol

 

Reception hasn't changed at all.

yea or you could just spend six dollars and get the avenger antenna or acura mdx... i have the avenger one looks great

I did the same thing to my Z a few weeks ago...just cut it and got a $0.08 top from the local hardware store and glued it on...reception didnt change at all and it looks 10x better...everyone should do this if you havnt already

Mine is now done. How didn't anyone think of this sooner I am very happy with the way mine turned out.
