Puddle lights perform a function when needed so I say nice... I thought that the definition of Rice was a car to be donned with items that perform no function or at least perform a function on the track but pretty useless on a car on the road?
Not like you would be driving around with them on all the time... that would be rice.

since we're now on the etymology of rice, this site has some stellar examples
is that a REAL Toyota Sports Camry? Dope!

i will say, I was in the backseat of a new benz the other day, and they have lights under the door handles, didn't see the point. on the other hand, it's your car, do what you want with it man.

Yea my wife has a Benz, its called "Ambient Lighting" and is meant to add a soft touch to the interior. It looks nice, but most aftermarket lights especially LED's can be too powerfull to look subtle. Just MHO.

At risk of being flamed, I will post. I had 7 color led's on the bottom of my Z cuz they came off the Celica I toasted. One was broken by a moron deciding it was a good idea to get a running start onto a lift, and one of the others was broken in a parking lot. I threw the set away following this, heh...
My advice is if you're putting something under the car to be careful and position it correctly. Personally I don't mind the idea, but I don't particularly like it. I'm done with my "extra lights" phase =\
