I have an 05 Z and was wondering if I need any special connectors for LED tail lights?

 

Which LED tail lights do you have? OEM or aftermarket?

Either way, you probably don't need anything special. Why don't you just plug them in and find out?

 

These I got from JDM, not Ebay. They are like OEM but LED. I don't have them yet. I've heard special wiring might be needed. Just thought if anyone has swaped out their normal lights for LED's, is there any specials connectors I might need.

 

If they are the OEM JDM Nissan tails, then they will be plug & play.

 

No special connectors needed. You will only use one connector of the two of your harness. Once you get your "JDM" lights and take off your existing lights you'll know what I'm talking about.Also, search this site, their a DIY about swapping tail lights. PM me if you have any problems, but search first.

No worries tho, i have the same in all red housing, they are good tails.

 

so for these tails you guys got from ebay, you needed no resistors or anything, i have these same ones for my 03 and can't keep them on my car because they mess with the ECU...no problems like that???
