Default Help Needed With HALO

2005 Super Black 350z

Basically my headlights have a haze on the inside of the lens so i figure I'll take them apart using the oven, sand down the haze, and buffer them out. While my headlights are disassembled I'd like to do the halo mod and maybe paint the inside of my headlights. I've looked around and there aren't many places to buy halos, so where should i purchase them and what color would look the best on my super black 05 z (I was thinking blue)? Also do i have to buy the halo covers separate or do the halos come with them? If so where do i buy the covers? Thanks for the help.

Here you go bro. You could probably find blue halos too on ebay if you wanted, but that would not be good with the police. Besides, the white ones are not really white, they look like 6000k. And i don't know what you mean by halo covers. When you order halos, all they come with are the halo ring, a plastic support behind the halo so it doesnt crack, and the wires. You don't need covers, it just goes over the projector shroud. Let me know if you have any trouble during the process, I have had mine done. Look at my pics or check out The Other Rob if you want to see what a halo looks like on a black car.

And follow this diy/link religiously lol

Thanks for the help. The covers i was wondering about are the plastic pieces most people put in front of the halos to give the headlights a neat look. In the link the piece i'm talking about is the plastic piece that shows the halo through 4 clear little squares. http://img41.imageshack.us/i/clear2z.jpg/

Here are what my headlights look like.

Leave the Halo for the BMW crowd, looks better on those cars. Just straight ricer on others.

Thanks for your opinion but I think I'll still end up getting a pair.

OHHHHHH dude, you can't do the halo mod with 03-05 headlights. You need 06-08 headlights to do that halo mod. If you really want to do the halo mod, buy a set of 06-08 headlights.

btw, the 03-05 headlights are completely different from the 06-08 headlights, so don't waste your money or time buying the projector cover, because it will not work with your headlights.
