Clearly 350z_Parasram missed this.

I still see the car driving around sometimes but it definitely no longer has the roof rack, new owner either removed it, or he removed it before selling it.

Roof rack on a car and getting used

Roof rack on a car because it "looks dope" makes you a fuking douche.

Sell your Z and pick up a MKII VW or Honda, they got a a lock on that "style"

Here is a pic of my Thule racks. Usually there are two Thule OutRide 561 bike holders, but on the pic I'm transporting planks.

Oh dam, perfect. If my Z was still a DD I would do the front bar and sea sucker mounted to the wing

Feet: Thule Rapid System 754
Bars: Thule AeroBar 861

I can't remember the clamp kit number, but I had to rework them completelly anyway. I'll make some pictures in a few days.

Any additional info would be great. I'm sure many others would be grateful for a solution like yours as well now that Boofsquire seems to no longer be shipping kits.

Had to bring back my bike from friends garage, so I attached the racks and also took some pictures.
When I was searching for a rack for my Z, I didn't have many options. Didn't want a rack with straps. I visited a guy who lends out Thule equipment. I tried for like 15 clamps. Nothing fitted, but the nearest were older Subaru ones which had bended ends. If I had to fabricate another set, I'd definitely use Subaru ones. Mine were probably 06 Corolla clamps - don't use these because you need to do a lot of bending-cutting-welding.
The pumps on the clamps are welding marks. The both clamp ends have to be welded under an angle. Clamps are covered with heat-shrinkable tube.

I found a picture of the first clamp before covering with heat-shrinkable tube. The center part is additionally welded.

Hey was curious what kind of q clips did you use for the roof rack? I was looking to do something similar on my 370z. Hope to hear from you...

what all components did you need? I want a roof rack but the only thing that's sold that fits 350z is the boofspire and I don't want a rack for the hatch.
