Default underbody?

Under the front bumper, there is a plastic thing that goes across from left to right wheels. To me it looks like it has to do with some aerodynamic.
If you guys know what i'm talking about i'll go on.
Is it ok to remove this when i lower my car about an inch? With my stock height right now, i sometimes scrape that plastic thing over hills or bumps. I don't like the sound of it lol
So is it ok to remove?

I think your talking about the plastic shield held on by some clips? That can be removed and has to for oil changes and anything done under it. I wouldn't remove it.

I think it's held on my screws. That thing is not parallel to the ground like the underbody. It is held there perpendicular to the ground

If the car is droppped more than it'll scrape more.. By dropping the car the same amount as the length of the thing wouldn't equal?

I think the OP is referring to that little lip on the back side of the bumper. Sure, I can be cut off, but if that's already scraping, and the car is lowered even more, get ready to scrape something more valuable, e.g. much of the exhaust system (cats, flex joints, flanges, etc.)

Are you sure it's not a droopy undertray that's scraping, because that's very common. That lip you refer to may have some scrapes visible, from concrete parking lot dividers, but I can't believe it's scraping the ground when other pieces aren't (like the undertray or exhaust).

In any case, the undertray should be there, as it's part of the system which forces are through the radiator, and a good one will cut down on drag, too. I've got one of those aluminum undertrays from CustomPartZ on my '08, and it's some of the best money I've ever spent.

That's exactly it. Mine's black too. I don't remember exactly but last time i saw it, i believe it was attached by a few bolts.

I won't be able to tell you how it goes after my car flying off in freeway lol

That's an air dam. It forces air to go up over the car rather than under it to generate downforce, as well as into the radiator to aid in cooling. Removing it will effect both of these aspects of your car.
