The plasti-dip on my h2 has held up without problem, and I beat the **** out of it.
Aside from some tree branch "hug" marks on the body, I've never had to recoat.

Are you guys clear coating this stuff?

No, I'm not clear coating it.

The material stays on fine, the only problem is the finish is deteriorating over time.

I actually didn't cut it out. I plasti dipped the whole emblem and then just painted the letters white.

Looks like clean work and attention to detail, but its not for me. Good work though. Good thing is you can switch it up when you get tired of it.

Got it custom mixed by paint store. Used a piece of ORACAL 055-Mint vinyl

Talking Got a bright idea right out of no where

So after I washed the Z today I thought, What if the lower grille was black instead of silver. When i got the car it was replaced and repainted but done poorly. So since I have gallons of black Plasti dip and gloss I decided to go at it. I think they should have came stock this way.

Anyways onto the pics!!!

I used my Earlex sprayer from dipyourcar to get a really nice smooth finish.

Nope never. No one else uses it evar. I like using it for an idea and most of the time paint it permanently if I like it enough.

Great idea … not sure how long it'll last but I'm sure you can re-dip it...
